In a civilized society, man learns that he should be kind and patient. That not everyone is the same, but that does not mean they deserve less consideration that anyone else.
In a civilized society man learns to have respect and regard for fellow man. . . whether said man or woman is white, yellow, black or any number of the rainbow's colors. We learn to live with people of special needs, according them courtesy and encouragement.
In a civilized society we are taught that every man's religion and creed is cherished and accepted as his own. Freedom and equality, even when ideals and beliefs take divergent paths.
These were the bricks that built this nation, along with the sweat of every person willing to work hard toward an ideal place to live and work and play.
Our Lady of the Light has shone the way for countless masses to be free. Now she must shine her light on us. Americans should receive equal opportunity to work here, and not be forced to choose to go overseas to work. Americans should benefit from the system built for them, education, job training, teaching our youth responsibility and once again make the "Working Man" a hero. We should not need a ruling body to point out that cruelty is not an acceptable behavior towards enemies or our foes.
The seams that knit this nation together are becoming frayed and weak. That flag, that beautiful symbol of peace should not be made to wave in shame. Schools should be teaching survival skills, not graphic depictions of lifestyles that are a choice - not a right - nor that they are right. . . teach them sexual morals and what it is to be a man and a woman. That virginity is cherished and splendid, worthy of saving for the right one.
Mothers should be held up as heroes. If men and woman produce children, those children should be their first and only priority, a full-time job. We show ignorance when we let a child raise themselves, they don't know how and cannot do more than exist. American made - a good idea - now let's make America once again a thing to be proud of and cherish.
