There are many modes of transportation today. Whether flying the airways, or commuting by car, train or boat, transportation has truly grown in many ways. Throughout history, transportation has evolved tremendously. At one time, transportation was merely walking the distance. In time, human beings used horses and buggies to get from one place to another. This, just a century ago until the first car was invented in the late 1800s. From that era, society demands faster and safer transportation. What type of transportation will we use in the future? We already have space shuttles and skycars (not mass produced yet).
Perhaps future transportation will involve depression of a small button like that in Star Trek. Vaporizing from one place and reappearing in another location in mere seconds is just a fantasy for now, but transportation through portal light years is not far away anymore. How do you envision the future of transportation?
