Holistic schools teach inherent ways of alleviating pain and homeopathic traditions to help aid in healing. Holistic schools are on the upswing of new age teachings and offer us academics in diverse fields of healing arts, naturopathic education and holistic studies encompassing everything from martial arts, Tai Chi, Reiki and Zero-balancing. Some holistic schools allow you to attain a degree in acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathy, herbal prescription, TaijiQuan and meditation. Other holistic schools conduct 300-1000 credit hour programs in massage therapy, homeopathy, and acupressure; and of course, holistic health.

In many cases, students enrolled in holistic schools will find that curriculums can be just as challenging and rewarding as most conventional learning centers. In addition to covering general subjects of study, (such as anatomy and physiology) students taking part in holistic schools may also learn about nutrition, herbology, mind-body-spirit work, spiritual and psychic healing, and holistic counseling. Subsequently, some holistic schools will sometimes provide MA and PhD programs in holistic medicine as well.

Potential exists for successful graduates of holistic schools to go onto working in lucrative and gratifying fields of holistic healthcare and natural preventive medicine.
