Range of Motion
Range of Motion can somtimes be hindered by strains, sprains and other injuries. Because our joints are comprised of a 'motion assembly,' including msucles, fluid sacs, ligaments, tendons and bones, range of motion can be reduced dramatically if one of these assembly factors is not working properly. One joint may affect several mucles and other joints to productively achieve specific body motions. When range of motion is limited due to scar tissue, subluxation, or other musculoskeletal disorders, individuals are limited in overall range of motion.
Some effective treatments and therapies for range of motion problems include chiropractic, varying massage therapies, bodywork, acupressure and physical therapy - just to name a few.
