By gently applying pressure and other massage therapy to these points, balance is restored to the body's Qi (energy flow or life force).
Additional training in reflexology also involves detailed studies of reflexology charts and clinical research in the field. Though typical in-class programs may be completed in less than two months, diplomas and/or certificates can be earned through reflexology home-study courses.
