Acrosage

Acrosage A blend of Yoga and Massage, ACROSAGE, (also known as "Inversion Therapy") was developed by Benjamin J. Marantz. Using acrobatics in combination with techniques similar in shiatsu, Acrosage activates pressure points. During Acrosage, a practitioner utilizes his or her legs to support the patient upside down. Leaving his arms free to massage the upper body, Acrosage is performed paying special attention to the face and head. Through Acrosage, the spine and limbs are given more mobilization, and the patient can relax while in the inverted position.

Acrosage is a noninvasive therapy which is considered very safe and suitable for most people. However, Acrosage should not be practiced on patients who have serious cardiovascular problems or medical conditions of the eye. Acrosage opens and relaxes the back, sends oxygen to the brain, stretches the entire body, promotes hormonal health; builds trust and intimacy and is a great therapy for persons with spinal or neck disorders. Additionally, Acrosage not only benefits the patient, but the practitioner as well.
