An interventional science, Psychology is the study of mental operation and behavior. Psychology observes and records how persons and other creatures interact with one another and to their environment. Understanding and predicting patterns of behavior, is the way psychology is utilized to learn how to help people meet their potentials and goals as human beings.
A broad field, psychology delves into varieties of questions related to thoughts, emotions and independent actions. Psychology asks questions like, "How do we cope? How can our dreams assist us? How do we think? What do we feel?" The questions and answers are endless.
Through research, the study of psychology has evolved our understanding of why and how people behave as they do. Psychology has taught us how personalities develop and how to achieve healthy outcomes. Psychology has aided in knowledge to help people transform themselves; enabling them to overcome habitual tendencies, and even allowing employers to improve conditions in the work environment, thus creating higher productivity levels.

As modern research unfolds the human psyche, psychology will play an increasingly vital role in the way humans function and interact with one another in this revolutionary society.
