Rosen Method
What is ROSEN METHOD? Rosen Method is a form of gentle bodywork that is geared to promote relaxation and a deeper awareness of one's body. Combining touch and communication, Rosen Method Therapy is a "listening" bodywork that primarily focuses on areas of tension. Rosen Method therapists wait for a response from the body. When the stress is altered or relaxation is achieved, an array of emotions, behaviors and memories may be released from the client.
Enhancing client awareness, the Rosen Method therapist sometimes may react verbally to anatomical changes in muscular tension or breathing. Rosen Method therapy enables the patient to be cognitive of reasons for his/her muscle tension. In some Rosen Method sessions, a client may or may not choose to vocalize these issues. In overview, Rosen Method bodywork is an excellent therapy for persons suffering from physical pain, poor posture, restricted breathing, persons seeking personal growth, people seeking heightened awareness, and persons who are looking for emotional relief. After a Rosen Method therapy, persons are said to have found revitalization, happiness and anatomical relaxation.
