ANGELS, are alive and well according to many religions. Created by God, angel comes from the Greek word meaning "messenger" or "one who is sent." Angels are usually depicted as having an earthly body and majestic wings. Artists and poets portray these heavenly beings symbolically that of innocence and virtue. There are many doctrines about angels, recognizing these superhuman beings in a rank-order above humans but beneath God.
Through the ages, angels have appeared in legends, dreams, visions and have miraculously protected and healed people. In some teachings, some angels are known as "fallen angels" as they fell from heaven because of sin. Angels, however, are known throughout history due to their magnetic appeal and intrigue.
