MEDIUMSHIP is the process whereby an individual is utilized as a vessel or instrument in an effort to communicate to one or more spirit entities. Through mediumship, information is revealed, paranormal activites may or may not occur and energies are channeled for examination and identification. Sometimes, by cooperative mediumship, information may manifest itself materially.
Mediumship also entails two types of spirit entities: one being a spirit communicator and the other, a spirit operator. In mediumship, the spirit who facilitates the medium for communication purposes (either verbally or visually), is commonly known as the "spirit communicator." The spirit who uses the medium for the actual working with and/or energy manipulation is referred to as the "spirit operator." Most always, the spirit operator will communicate through the medium as well.
Of the widely practiced mediumships, mental mediumship and physical mediumship both involve revelational occurrences. Mental mediumship is a form of mental telepathy whereby spirit information is transferred through the medium's voice. Physical mediumship is moreover a type of telekinesis where effects of the mediumship can both be seen and heard by others.
Mediumship works well when seven or eight individuals come together in a circle in the name of God. [However, where two gather in the name of God, the Spirit will come.] A mediumship session should begin with an opening prayer, call to God and Spirit, a directed meditation, a "message work" time, and finally an ending prayer. Mediumship circle sessions last about an hour. In mediumship, patience is crucial; and furthermore, discussion is not encouraged between and among the gathering circle, as this disallows accurate readings through the spiritual mediumship.
