An oracle is namely a person through whom a deity is assumed to speak. Oracles have intuitive powers of a higher realm that convey information, knowledge or wisdom to those who seek spiritual guidance or understanding of things that are, and that are to come. An oracle is similar to a medium in the sense that he or she has the ability to speak for a deity. Generally, an oracle has higher standing in the metaphysical realm of the cosmological and ancient wisdom.
