SPIRITUAL MOVEMENTS have been shaping and modifying the world as we know it throughout the course of human history. What is a spiritual movement? Spiritual movements are comprised of a vast spectrum of organizations who identify themselves with the Divine but in different variations. Some spiritual movements may be of the Catholic faith, while some are new age -- like that of "A Course in Miracles," or "Church of Scientology." Spiritual movements transcend the course of time, as faiths have dramatically evolved from generation to generation.

Schumacher) in the early 20th Century as a spiritual movement to sustain development, green issues, ecology, conservation, economy, health, education, philosophy, spirituality, architecture, energy and technology.

The spiritual movement of John Wesley during the 1700's transformed strict religious practices as he created the Methodist church. Going against the entire Church of England, Mr. Wesley's spiritual movement still thrives today throughout 130 countries.
