The Zodiac, first recorded over 5,000 years ago, has several specialized and individual meanings. The Zodiac includes twelve signs - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces; the Zodiac encompasses a broad spectrum of knowledge. The way we live and interact in society is greatly deduced from our personal Zodiac sign and the many planets that rule our lives.
Prior to Christ's existence, Greek philosophers theorized that everything in nature has a parallel. In other words, the Universe and mankind are intriquitely linked together. This theory, known as the Hermetic Theory, evolved from palmistry and other divinatory arts.
Claudius Ptolemy made the first, historical recordings of the Zodiac in the Tetrabiblos during the second century, A.D. Since that time, the Zodiac has greatly evolved with the continual discovery of new planets, their associations and defining clues.
As Human beings continue to progress through the coming centuries and milleniums, the Zodiac continues to indiscriminately determine our bodies, minds, emotions and ultimately, our destiny. What we choose to do with our infinite wisdom of the Zodiac is key to further development of our psyche, our individuality and the endless possibilites that lead us to our final destination in life.
