Metaphysics
Academic METAPHYSICS is relative to philosophy; and the study of basic nature with regard to all of reality -- things both visible and naked to the human eye. Metaphysics attempts to explain what anything or any matter must be like in order to exist altogether. The discovery of what "lies beneath," is also a good definition of metaphysics as it addresses all things.
Popular Metaphysics is more widely known as it refers to a broad spectrum of controversial and often, paranormal phenomena that is believed to be "real" or existent. One form of these metaphysics is "mysticism." Mysticism metaphysics relates to divine unity or Godly love experiences. The other form of popular metaphysics is "occultism." Occultism metaphysics covers a mariad of categories, including extrasensory perception (ESP), telepathy, clairvoyance, mediumship, telekinesis, and many more topics that bare relation to these forms of metaphysics.
Metaphysics is sometimes thought of as "new age," and is used in connection with modern Christian science, Theosophy and Spiritualism. Perhaps the newest form of metaphysics are the theoretical and applied forms of it. As Academic Metaphysics and Popular Metaphysics describe the term, theoretical and applied metaphysics are the gathering and practical application of knowledge gained from metaphysics.
