The Vejegeta appears at the Spring Carnevale in Puerto Rico. It is a masked figure that carries a cow's bladder and chases children with it. It symbolizes evil, and is chased away by the people during the festival. This is part of my current series of paintings, oil on canvas, The Secrets of the Divine Mandala.
