So many people form the wrong opinion of God simply because they do not really know about Him. For example, very few are aware that the Bible speaks of two different Gods, both with a capitol 'G'.
Usually, when you mention this, you will hear; "It is not two Gods, but two different aspects of the same God." Which only proves how quick some people are to make a judgment without having any of the facts.
In the book of Daniel, in the eleventh chapter it speaks of the God of forces, and the God of gods. It says that this certain 'king', who is the antichrist, will speak AGAINST the God of gods,(Verse 36) but will honor the God of forces (Verse 38).
It is not possible to speak against one aspect of God, yet honor a different aspect of Him, for God cannot be divided. As is written; "...... (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father ......." (1st Cor. 8;5-6.) However, in 2nd Thes. ch. 2 vs. 3 and 4, it says that the man of sin will set himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped.
Now, anytime anyone or anything can set itself higher than what we are calling God, or are worshipping, then it is high time we took a closer look at just what we are calling God.
It is the God of forces which people honor, but the God of gods is over the God of forces.
They call all the forces of nature, such as tornados, earthquakes, avalanches, hurricanes, floods, etc., acts of God, but these are acts of the God of forces, NOT the God of gods.
A conversation may go something like this; My God said ... Wait. just who are you calling God? There is only one God. Right, but the Bible says there are many gods, so just which one are you calling the One God? .... Duh!
? The God of gods is our heavenly Father, and the one we should honor, and as silly as it sounds, those who honor the God of gods has power over any force.
I, myself, have stopped a tornado dead which was ripping this huge maple tree apart, just before it reached a house not fifty feet from the tree, and divided a storm to keep it from raining on a house that had the roof removed. It was pouring rain on each side of the house, but not a drop was falling on the house.
I have removed demons from people and healed people from over three hundred miles away. I don't tell this to brag on myself, for with the right understanding, anyone can do the same things, and 'anyone' includes you.
Understand this. The God of gods holds the power of life, but it is satan who holds the power of death (Hebrews 2;14). Since satan is the 'prince' of this world, then he has dominion over the God of forces, but he does NOT have dominion over any person.
Just as you have dominion over satan, so do you also have dominion over the God of forces. However, no one, anywhere at any time has dominion over the God of gods.
Also remember, 'force' is always destructive, whereas 'power' is always creative. Those followers of wicca utilize the forces, whereas those who honor the God of gods and Jesus Christ whom He sent, utilizes power. No force can stand against power. Power can overcome any force. I love you. Jack
