A few years ago, I decided to leave the " Path " and to walk alone again. When I started it some fourty years earlier, it was a path that I would occasionally meet other adventurers on. Sometimes we would stop and talk for hours, sometimes we would just pass quickly with eye contact and a knowledgable nod and continue on. Mostly it was a place within quiet meditation surrounded by the hussle and bussle of life.
As the years went on, I met more and more travelers in this Sacred place, stopping me more often, talking longer and asking me to teach them, have classes, and to write workshops. I noticed more and more buildings along the Path, they called them Centers. In them were books, incense, with some hand made crafts as well. They were places of gentle energies, and run by gentle people. Before long, the Path became a very crowded place, people walking shoulder to shoulder. Centers became stores, seekers became shoppers, and spirit became prophit margins. Crafts are ordered from catalogs, and spirituality became the way to wealth and success, by way of those selling it as the way to get rich quick with little more than focused thought and imagry.
I could not help notice the focus shifted from what people contained in themselves as their source of happiness, to what others could heal in them, do for them, and sell to them that could bring them the happiness they sought. Buy this book, use this stone, burn this candle, and buy your way to bliss.
The ' Path ' and its revelations was to become mainstream to accomplish evolution of spiritual Humanity into life, but instead manistream life became the concrete and mall of the path while everyone wasn't looking. The categories of spiritual practices has grown to thousands, with more websites than can be surfed in a lifetime. We are divided into Lightworkers, Indigo's, Crystal Children, and more label oriented than religions varieties within the ' true religion ' amongst the worlds endless stream of religions.
My walking alone again wasn't a judgement of it, but of myself. I began this to become unified within myself, to be One in and of myself, and cannot advise or even suggest to anyone what practice to embark upon to find themselves and their happiness, save to look into themselves and listen to no-one except the voice within.
We all need to make a living, feed our families and ourselves. We need to contribute to Humanities well being as well as our own, and to progress everforward in our evolution and the races. In the early days of my growth, I desired to be the best father I could be. The only spiritual and logical answer to that quest was to be the best Human Being I could be. The way out of the old programming within me was to look around me and see what others around me desired to be happy and wealthy in all aspects of themselves, and to help them acheive. This remains the only progress measurable across time into our futures, rather than progress that will die with us. The system that will survive the scourage of competitive programming is the one that centers its business in offering Human Beings the opportunity to become fullfilled in all aspects of the term weath.
