MakeMoneyIdeasBlog.com behind The Scenes- My metrics reporting

As part of the "Behind the Scenes of my Blog" series-Lets discuss metrics reporting. I use Google Analytics for my metrics reporting. Google Analytics is Free it easy to use and it is feature rich.
Measuring success and what works or doesn't work is critical for a successful website. Below is a screenshot of my Google analytics overview from the first few days of this blog.
Some insight gained from this report:
* My Blog Marketing Plan is working - my traffic is slowly rising * Friday's spike in traffic was due to my first release of content to digg.com o I will update my Blog Marketing Plan and add Digg.com o I will concentrate more efforts on Digg.com- the traffic generated from one day was greater than all week from EzineArticles.com * My returning visitor rate is high- This is good- My efforts have been concentrated in this goal by providing great content RSS feeds and more... * My page views have decreased- however this may be due to recent spikes in article specific pages like the Digg.com article
