Healing Prayers for You and Others

 What amazing happiness and wonder we have when we open ourselves up to the healing energies contained in prayer. The Persian Prophet Baha'u'llah, founder of the Orthodox Baha'i Faith, in the latter years of the 1800's stated that "Thy Name is my healing." It is the creative Name, that is the attributes of God, that when focused upon cause spiritual healing.
To become centered and grounded, prayer is the key. The heart is the home of the Spirit of God, and if we open it to that Spirit it will descend into it. We are in a sense divine beings who are being prepared to manifest all the virtues of God.
We are according to Baha'u'llah, "the soft flowing waters upon which must depend the very life of all men." Those who have received a true understanding of prayer and the Source of the answer to prayer, have a high calling to heal the nations of the world. There is a Source of power and wisdom, and if we attune our hearts to It, then we can become the source of healing and grace to others.
Can you sense a source of aid surrounding you? The Concourse of High, is there to aid and assist any believer in the Unity of God, according to Baha'u'llah. Prayer to God will cause these heavenly beings to descend to aid the believer. Many find when praying for healing for others, that they themselves come to feel closer to the Manifestation of God on earth.
The remembrance of God is the remedy for each of us. When we focus our prayer upon others and their healing, we will find that our own healing will be aided.
By prayer we become attuned to our own needs. Focusing own our desire through the prayer to see the Lord healing another is an unselfish act.
By praying for another we ourselves become energized by the Holy Spirit. Anyone can pray for the healing of another, anyone can focus on the needs of their brother or sister.
When you tap into the healing of prayer, you tap into an energy that really has no limits. Prayer is the method which allows us to draw near to God. Prayer is a way to connect the soul with the higher dimensions of existence. The best prayers then are those revealed from the higher dimension to God's Prophet.
