Blazing Plane Crash

This morning I woke up crying from a horrible nightmare. In my nightmare, my third grade step-son and I were driving on a highway near an airport in our area. Suddenly, a plane crashed right in front of my car and the impact from the explosion carried us up into the air. While we were in the air, we were being burned by fire. I could really feel the fire burning my skin and I watched my step-son's face being burned. Because the fire was piercing my skin and it was extremely painful for me to watch my step-son's face being burned, I screamed.
Like I mentioned earlier, I woke up crying from this nightmare and I still get emotional whenever I tell anyone what happened. What could be the cause of this nightmare and what does this all mean? Thank you for your opinion and advice; it will definitely be appreciated.
