Black Dog And Aligator Dream

this is really weird, but I dreamt that I was sleeping in my old bedroom, at my parents house. this house was when I was three years old. but in my dream I, was an adult sleeping on a bed that had a black dog sleeping beside me and a aligator on top of my feet. these animals werent attacking me but they were attacking every body else, that would get next to me! and the next room was my son, playing video games.. and the black dog and aligator went long with me, but never attacked my son!
I woke up screaming and scared!
