In real life, my lover broke up with me in November. Apparently in January, she moved back in with her boyfriend. I do admit to still having a hard time with the situation.
Last night I had a dream that they were living in the house next to my parents (in which I had lived for a while), and that I still lived in my parents house. My bedroom in my dream was what used to be my brother's room when we were kids.
I was aware of the presence of my ex-partner and her boyfriend in the house next door. I went into the closet and grabbed a rifle. I knew I was going next door with it, but it was not to kill anybody. I had to break the rifle in half in order to fit it into the pockets of my cargo pants, where I could hide it as I walked past my parents. At this point, I am aware of my brother's presence in the room, but I cannot see him. I just know he's there.
Next, I am at the head of the bed my ex and her boyfriend are sleeping in. The rifle was assembled, and I suddenly had a baseball bat as well. Even as I stood there, watching them slumber, I had no desire to kill or harm either one of them. I then lifted the rifle in my right arm while I held the bat in the other. Gary was sleeping on his stomach with his head facing to the right. He shaves his head, and for some reason, that was very prevelant in my dream, almost exaggerated.
So with the rifle in my right hand, I put it up to his head. But all I did was poke him in the head with it, and I pressed the barrell against his head and watched the flesh move. Then I woke up.
So, I not only have no idea what my dream meant, I don't have a clue as to what my own intentions were in the dream.
