Elk To Horses

I was walking along a country road with my 6 year old daugher. we were watching a elk herd go by in the feild. They were being rounded up by some cowboy type men.I pointed out to my daughter that the horns on the elk were different then the deer's horns.All of the sudden instead of elk it was horses that the men were rounding up and the horses were more panicked then the elk were. One of the horses that was being ridden by the men broke his leg because the man was to rough.The man jumped down from the horse and yelled for another to ride and told the other men he was going to shoot the horse because his leg was broken,,,he seemed to have no feelings torward the horse at all, and was cruel. I hurried my daughter away not wanting her to see what was to happen to the horse,, trying to sheild her face and walk down the road
