Journey to the Center of ME

I would like to take a moment to share with you an experience of enlightenment. Having been a believer in God since my early teens I had not doubts in my mind about the powers above me. It wasn't until recently, upon getting involved with Reiki, that I became aware of the fact that those very same powers were within me. My experience with Reiki has led to some of the most phenominal realizations I have ever experienced and it is hard to find words to describe such. But, on with the story....
My father had a tumor removed from behind his eye 20 years ago having just gotten out of the military. He is a very honorable man that I am proud to call my father. Well, here we were, exactly 20 years later, and that same tumor resurfaced out of the blue. My entire family was at the hospital the day he went in. He was about to be prepped and it was time to say our temporary farewells. I had the inclination to touch his head, right where the previous surgery's scar was, and say a quick prayer. I had not idea, at the time, of the outcome but was assured in my soul that he would be just fine.
The surgery took hours as they had to meneuver around the brain, having gone through the crandium. Afterwards I found out that not only did he do just fine and the tumor was completely removed (something of an aneurism) but he got up from the surgical table and walked to, and got on, his gurney BY HIMSELF!!!
He has since had a full recovery and is still the exact same old jolly and vibrant man I have known all of my life.
