Here I am again...
People all about scrubbing, preparing, checking,
Needles, inserted to feed you
Send that cold buring
Flowing, fluid to drift you.
You're away
Time has no bearing, lost to you
Not to all
Only voices echoing at first
Bringing you closer to the surface
Pain lets you know it's over
Still dazed
Now that all to famous journey
Recovery!!!!
More pain!!!!
Thought this was over
Been through this so many times
Yet, ahead is still this road
It could be years
Never any promises
What it takes out of you
What you have to put back
Still no choice it had to be
The surgeons slice
Another change in your life
Been here so many times before
Injuries have taken a toll on my body
Sports have made me a lose parts of time
Life took another
And as I drift
Yet another takes me away
Just wish for it to end
But that is not in my future
Struggle to heal
The dance is done
Here I am again....
