I will walk with you;
hand-in-hand
upon the sand
of the peaceful beach
as we stand
in awe of spring's first ripening peach.
I will sing for you;
side-by-side
and watch you close-eyed
as you sway in time
and sing in mime
in awe of the autumn inside.
I will stand with you;
hand-in-hand
and watch the sky's hue
fade to night
as we stand in awe of the wintery delight.
I will wait for you;
day-by-day
and when you return to me:
i'll love you forever
(unconditionally)
so much so that time, nor season, will ever sever.
