Suddenly surrounded by eruption of emotion
Feelings flowing like a ship tossed about the ocean.
Eyes
Floating in tears
Nails
Digging into clenched palms
Sadness turns to
Anger turns to Rage
Wiping my eyes with my already dampened sleeve
So I can finish reading.
"...Another teenager from Ohio
Was killed today in Iraq."
Do you think that nineteen years is long enough to live?
Would you if it was your son who gave all he could give?
