Masculine Heart
We feel, yet we don't show it. We cover up with a facade of strength. We care, but are afraid to say it, For fear it's a sign of weakness. It breaks apart, we hide it with anger, We repair it in silence. We cry, yet our tears are dry, We curl up inside to cover the pain. We lash out when we should draw in. We show our physical strengths, When inside we are in pieces. The masculine heart beats the blood of life, It feels pain and sorrow, It loves and hates, It will break and it will heal.
