I'm so tired of these dark gray days, why won't you, please, come out and play? A second or two, now and then, to let me know we're still best friends,
Please, stop this game of hide 'n seek, and cast your cleansing glow on me, Illuminate and grant me warmth... chase away the blues that swarm!
Break the spell of winter's gloom, let life once more flow in the womb, A patch of blue, perhaps to tease, enough to send a rush through me!
I'll play with you, your little games, and wait you out, come snow or rain, For now, I think you're so unfair, but winds of change are in the air.
