Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.x (Windows)
- Select the "Internet
Options..." menu item in the "Tools" menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab
at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.
- From the list of zones at the top of
the Security options select the internet icon.
- Select the button near the bottom that
reads "Custom Level".
- In the new window that pops up, scroll
down to the item that reads "Active
Scripting".
- Select the option marked
"Enable".
- Click on the "Ok" button at
the bottom of the Security Settings window.
- Click on the "Ok" button at
the bottom of the Internet Options window.

Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows)
- Select the "Internet
Options..." menu item in the "View" menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab
at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.
- From the list of zones at the top of
the Security options select the internet icon.
- Select the button near the bottom that
reads custom and click on the settings button.
- In the new window that pops up, scroll
down to the item that reads "Active Scripting".
- Select the option marked
"Enable".
- Click on the "Ok" button at
the bottom of the Internet Options window.

Internet Explorer 5.x (Macintosh)
- From the browser's Edit menu select "Preferences..."
- Within the left-hand pick list, expand the item group Web Browser (if necessary).
- Under the item group labeled Web Browser, select Web Control.
- Check the box labeled Enable JavaScript and push the OK button to close the Internet Explorer Preferences dialog box.
- Refresh the current page.

Netscape 7.x
- From the browser's Edit menu select "Preferences..."
- Within the Category pick list, expand the Advanced item by clicking on the triangle twisty.
- Next, select the subitem labled Scripts & Plugins.
- Within the Scripts & Plugins window, check "Navigator" under the Enable JavaScript for grouping. In the Allow Scripts to pane, make sure items regarding cookies are checked.
- Push the OK button to close the Preferences dialog box.
- Reload the current page.

Netscape 6.x
- Select the "Preferences..."
menu item in the "Edit" menu.
- Click on the "Advanced" label
displayed in the list of options on the left hand side of the
Preferences window that pops up.
- On the right hand side select
the checkbox marked "Enable Javascript for Navigator".
- Click on the "Ok" button at
the bottom of the Preferences window.
